Our 8″ Purple Airway Buffing Wheels are designed as a cut & finish buff, providing a balanced combination of cutting ability and surface refinement. Positioned between pink cut buffs and green medium cut-and-finish buffs, this wheel is ideal when you need to blend, smooth, and begin finishing in a single step. Constructed from cotton mounted to a 3″ steel center ring, the airway design creates pleats in the buffing surface, allowing the wheel to run cooler and deliver a non-directional cutting action compared to stitched or sewn buffs.
